The Politics Society aims to bring together like-minded individuals passionate about political discourse, theory, and international affairs. It offers a platform for engaging discussions, debates, roundtables on politics and its theories, and events on modern political topics. The club will also host guest lectures to develop a deeper understanding of global political dynamics and have various social events, to provide opportunities for Politics & International relations students and non-students alike to connect and build long-lasting friendships.

Our journal is a student‑run publication dedicated to exploring big questions with curiosity, rigour, and creativity. We provide a platform for students to engage critically with political ideas, topics and events to contribute fresh perspectives to ongoing debates. Each issue features essays and opinion pieces that showcase the diversity of political thought and encourage debate across ideological lines. We carefully select the highest quality submissions to showcase UNSW’s exceptional talent. We believe politics matters most when it is accessible, and our mission is to foster a community of students who are unafraid to question assumptions, challenge power, and re-imagine our shared political future.
